while you’re still here...
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there. - 2009-11-23 13:47 muns

- i have had an email today from molly's family....it's really the most awful news :( :( Sadly Molly's body was found this weekend by a local gardener. It seems that she had been struck by a car on the Embankment and ran and hid under a shrub at the back of a garden nearby. Although her body has only just been found, we think that she in fact died very soon after she went missing. Many thanks for all your help and support in trying to trace her. Sorry im only just replying,
Well they were in my work just after i started which was at 10am and had seen the dog on there way from bedford near the bulk of the road works just up from the marston mortaine little chef which is why they didnt stop there. They were heading to MK and the dog was heading the otherway so i understand.
Really hope this helps i know its not too accurate but really hope its something.

- message on labrador forums.i have asked if there is any more detailsthe cameras that they have referred to are average speed spec cameras.
http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopict-68622.html
This might be a long shot but i work in little chef in milton keynes and had some customers in today from bedford saying they saw a dog walking along the A421 in bedford in the pouring rain so didint get a clear look but they were saying they felt dreadful for the poor thing.
I know theres cameras all up the A421 at the moment maybe she will have been spotted on that if it was her.
Best of luck! x

- Have you got a door or gate you can leave open incase she comes back in the middle of the night - somewhere dry where you can leave her bed and also some food? Put as many posters up as you possibly can - they really are the key to getting her back. Hoping she's home soon, Alison xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Molly went missing from her home on Bushmead Avenue, Bedford at around 4 pm on Friday 13 November. She slipped out when the builders were packing up at the end of the day. We started looking immediately we realised that she was not in the house, but it was already getting dark and we have had no reports of sightings. She could have decided to head off in any direction - along the river or into town. Molly has long legs for a labrador, a smooth coat and a greying muzzle. She has a scar on her tummy from when she was spayed. She is an affectionate dog but can be wary of strangers. We are missing her dreadfully and offer a reward for her safe return.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi I?m sorry to hear Molly is missing.
Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres?local council stray dogs holding kennel give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars.., If you can go down there each day to check for your dog that is the best thing as they only have to hold a dog for 7 days before it can legally be rehomed or in some cases destroyed. It is also worth contacting the local police as if someone has found your dog they may well have contacted them.
email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo please if you haven?t already.
You can only print posters when you are signed in.
Get postering now?..as quickly and as many as you can physically manage. make sure you offer a reward on the posters.
POSTER POSTER POSTER!!!?I cannot emphasize how important this is, from the posters you will get sightings and lots of extra pairs of eyes looking out for your dog.
Poster bus stops, train stations, supermarket/retail park car parks, pet shops petrol stations, lay by snack vans, service stations, bins, poo bins, shopping centres, take away outlets, pubs, lamposts, caf?s, leisure centre?s,??.basically anywhere people go you need to poster like mad so nobody misses them? ask in as many places as you can if they will display a poster for you.
Tell postman and binmen and give them a poster so they have your phone no handy? infact tell every single person you meet while searching as the more people know the much better chance of getting your dog back quickly.
Contact the local newspaper and radio stations? take out an advert with a photo in the papers pets section lost and found and make sure you offer a reward!.
If you believe your dog has been stolen then it is very important you contact the police for a crime reference number?. And the postering publicity should have the aim of not only getting your dog home but making it too hot to handle. Cross posted to www.labradorforums.co.uk http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopicp-1114696.html#1114696 Good luck xx
