- Well done TanchoSanke! It really is a great feeling isn't it, when you help a dog get reunited with it's owner. Really kind of you to take so much trouble.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Great news! Went out with my own dog and walking around fields saw a lady in the distance running around looking distressed and calling a dogs name. Ran after her and managed to catch up to her. Asked her if she was looking for missing dog and she said yes - discription and collar exactly as her missing dog so Holly the dog's owner has been found and will be contacting Sunnyside to go and collect her! Absolutely brilliant result, I have done my good deed for the day and i'm glad that her owner knows exactly where she is and that she has been safe all this time - it was very emotional! :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hiya,
I do have pictures of this dog but unfortunately can't find my USB adapter. As soon as found I will load them up.
This dog was found wandering the streets and seemed distressed. Luckily it came over to my own dog and I was able to grab the collar. It had an ID tube attached but as per usual the bottom had dropped out so the tube was empty. Managed to get her and my own dog back home as I only live 2 minutes walk away from where I found her and then hooked her up to a lead and walked the area for an hour looking incase an owner was searching. Also asked local dog walkers I see often but no sign of an owner looking for a dog and the dog wasn't recognised by them. I am now going back to the area to walk around incase an owner is now looking.
Dog warden scanned but no chip found and this dog has now been taken to Sunnyside kennels. A very sweet lady and very well mannered (gave me her paw to shake and sat for me). Obviously well cared for (if a little too much as she was a bit on the porky side!) and I really hope she is reunited with her mum and dad soon!
Pictures to follow
