- I have created a facebook group called "Missing- Slate. Have you seen this dog?" Quite a few people (124 so far) have joined and cross posted Slate's details for me. His details are also now on the "Bully Befrienders" part of www.poshpussrescue.org thank you to Janet who runs the posh puss rescue. Have sent a text for an update to Slate's owner. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you sharon, i will look into that. I spoke to Slate's owner today via text, she has been in hospital and so hasn't been able to do much this week, however she has contacted Cheshire Dogs Home and Halewood RSPCA to keep checking. She is trying to get better so that she can get out there and look for him. I told her i would take up to visit all rescue's this week if she has no transport and is up to it. Hope to get some good news about this lovely boy soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoken to Halewood RSPCA, the ones in there have been in longer than when Slate went missing. Also contacted Warrington RSPCA nothing has been reported to them, they are a Rehoming Centre and dogs would be reported to DW and taken to Cheshire Dog's Home if handed into them. - Adele I've updated and added the new photo to the various size posters I'd done earlier tonight and have re-emailed to you and Barbara. Poster also emailed to Halewood and Warrington RSPCA's. I'll ring Halewood tomorrow and ask them to check he is not there, if you or family want to contact Warrington the number is 01925 632944 please send a text if you manage to contact them as I will be in work. He sure is a handsome boy, fingers crossed we see him in the blue soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Great you have been in touch with owner Adele. I've been on training today in work and have had no pc or phone access. Called into Halewood RSPCA on the way home from work to check for any matches etc and there are a lot of staffies in there which is not unusual. I did notice a least two blue and white ones but have not got the details. Hope we see lovely slate in the blue soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have spoken to owner. SLATE went missing from the back garden on Saturday 14th. The owner’s other dog also got out of the garden but was found straight after. The back wall is apparently quite big and the gate was shut so owner thinks somebody may have let them out! Owner has contacted RSPCA, Cheshire Dogs Home, and local vets, DW has been contacted. Chip company has also been informed. Slate IS CHIPPED so hopefully he will be found and scanned very soon. Owner is going to email some pics to me now so that we can get poster’s made up and sent out to her and the relevant people. Have given basic advice and will email more info along with posters asap. Hope this boy is home safely very soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
