His owner has now been FOUND.  Email from Marion, the DW got in touch and this boy's name is Dylan and he is 2 years 3 months.  He had gone missing several streets away from the Heath where he was found. Marion and groomer have given family advice on grooming, getting him chipped and neutered.   If family wish to rehome him they will help find him a good home. Thanks Marion and groomer for taking the time to look after him and find his owner.  Hope they take your good advice on board and keep on top of the grooming etc.  Welcome home Dylan.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

aww poor little mite...Hope is owner is found soon..
Shame he is not nearer to me ( i am in Kent ) as I am actually looking at getting a Bichon in the next few weeks, or after christmas...and would normally go down the puppy route, but i have been looking for Bichons for rehoming.
Would love to rehome one who has had a troubled time and give a very loving home to.
I really do hope he is returned to his rightful owner, thats if he was cared for properly .
Will keep an eye on this onewill there be any info to where he will go if no-one claims him ???

Thanks Marion for replying to the email, details have now been updated. This boy was found wandering, he has been checked by the vet for a chip and also reported to the DW.  Groomer had to groom him as it was essential due to his condition.  He stayed with the groomer who knows someone in Bichon Rescue they are going to try to find him a foster home and hopefully find his owner, if owner not found he will be rehomed via the rescue. I have alerted Marion to a few on DL and the nearest one is in Wales.  His nose does look black, but Marion can confirm this. This boy could belong to an elderly person or been out for a while to get into the condition he is.  The weather has been really bad at the moment.  Hope he finds his owner or new home soon.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
