This is NOT the same dog. The caller that I spoke to stated that the dog was white. the dog in the photo is a caramel colour and desborough is a good 20+miles away from the racecouse which is right in the centre of the town of northampton. I went out on Sunday to the area and put some food down well away from the road and managed to spot some areas that he may well have been using as a den. Unfortunately it was dark and rainy so searching was tricky to say the least. I've been away for a few days so will go back up there after work tonight to see if i can locate the poor thing. 20799 was picked up near the racecourse in the centre of Northampton on Wednesday last week. This dog was seen running free ourside Descborough 20 miles away. Similar description but it's unlikely to be the same dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

20799 is listed as caramel colour and the photo shows him in someones house so assuming that he was found loose on the road and is no longer on the run. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

member of public has called in reporting that this dog has been running up and down the same stretch of road for the past 4 days and appears to be abandoned. No sex is known and no identifying features or collar. he is described as being on the stoke albany road between desborough and Stoke Albany just ouside Desborough on the straight stretch of road outside Desborough airfield. The dog is described as being slightly bigger than a jack russel with a terriers body but "strange" head, sounds like a crossbreed to me!!! shortish wiry coat with brown patches over his face. I live right near this area but am working until 10 tonight grrr. The dog warden won't come out unless the dog is contained so this poor boy or girl is left to roam. Is there anyone that is nearby and could possibly contain the dog for the warden to be called? Help!!! Many thanks Angela Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
