- MIllie is home !! She turned up at her gate minus her collar and covered in mud ! Rossie who she originally ran off with has been reunited with his owners for over 10 days now and it remains a mystery where Millie has been all this time !! Welcome home Millie and stay safe from now on ~ PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I think I might have seen Millie on her own at Waterloo Traffic lights on Monday - the dog I saw was running quite happily across the busy intersection there. I pulled around the corner (Waterloo Road) to find somewhere ot pull over to try to catch her, but when I got back she had vanished. I hadn't seen this post then, so wasn't aware of Millie's escape. She might have been taken in by someone in that area - she didn't seem at all distressed.......Will look out for her again later today.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- MIllie was SIGHTED yesterday ! Rossie the dog Millie escaped with was found by a lady today and is now back with his owners. The same lady saw both dogs running together in fields yesterday but Millie was not with Rossie today so she may have been taken in by someone. Owner is still trying to get a photo of Millie to us ~ PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Millie dug her way out from the garden along with Rossie a German Shepherd. Owners have contacted the dog warden and have contact details for local stray kennels. Their computer is playing up at the moment so will try to get a photo to us via mobile phone. Hoping to see Millie and Rossie home again very soon xx Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi I?m sorry to hear Millie is missing.
Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres?local council stray dogs holding kennel give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars.., If you can go down there each day to check for your dog that is the best thing as they only have to hold a dog for 7 days before it can legally be rehomed or in some cases destroyed. It is also worth contacting the local police as if someone has found your dog they may well have contacted them.
email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo please if you haven?t already.
You can only print posters when you are signed in.
Get postering now?..as quickly and as many as you can physically manage. make sure you offer a reward on the posters.
POSTER POSTER POSTER!!!?I cannot emphasize how important this is, from the posters you will get sightings and lots of extra pairs of eyes looking out for your dog.
Poster bus stops, train stations, supermarket/retail park car parks, pet shops petrol stations, lay by snack vans, service stations, bins, poo bins, shopping centres, take away outlets, pubs, lamposts, caf?s, leisure centre?s,??.basically anywhere people go you need to poster like mad so nobody misses them? ask in as many places as you can if they will display a poster for you.
Tell postman and binmen and give them a poster so they have your phone no handy? infact tell every single person you meet while searching as the more people know the much better chance of getting your dog back quickly.
Contact the local newspaper and radio stations? take out an advert with a photo in the papers pets section lost and found and make sure you offer a reward!.
If you believe your dog has been stolen then it is very important you contact the police for a crime reference number?. And the postering publicity should have the aim of not only getting your dog home but making it too hot to handle.
keep going back to the place where your dog was last seen and leave something with their scent on it there. Cross posted to www.labradorforums.co.uk http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopicp-1119396.html#1119396 Good luck xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
