- Hi,I have 4 yorkies and have recently had 1 stolen,Alfie stolen May 19th. From experience with yorkies I think your dog will lie low for a while untill the fire works go down, however he may be a bit confussed as to what direction he comes from. I think with a good spread of posters and a good search you will find him. At 14 years old nobodywill steel him,you have to get a good search party out because he has most likely gone to ground.I would advise a slow gentle approach, not to scare him,as he will be scared. I really wish you all the luck that HE deserves. You will get him back, after all,he is a yorkie and he is intelligent. Let me know.JustineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
