It is great to see that Molly is now safely back home with you!  Many thanks for offering to stay on as a helper.  The more people who can help the better!   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi there, it's great to see Molly is now safely back at home thanks to a lovely man who wanted to find her owner so much he trekked up and down the streets.  It is great also that you want to stay involved with doglost and do your bit which is what all of us do.  There are very many highs and lows with dogs being found and some sadly are not, but we all still keep looking for those yet to be reunited no matter how long it takes.  There are very many people involved who are just so lovely and caring and many friendships are forged.  Stay safe little girl.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
e mail from owner:   hi there! WE FOUND MOLLY!we got a call at 11am this morning from mary,to say that someone had rang-up as they had found a brown lab.It sounds like it could be ours! And it was! After she give me his number he told me how his son had come home that afternoon and told them that he met two people that were looking for there dog,a brown coloured lab!later that day,he went out and found her wondering around people's garden. So he took her home with him.(they have two dogs of there own). Then they went out to see if they could find-out where the dog lived.(I did'nt think to give people a phone number when asking them if they had seen our dog!)They only live 5mins from us!(lessons to be learnt!)Later on that night as I was out with my other dog still looking for her,I pasted the man in the street still trying to see if any one was still out there looking for her!(he told me when he saw me out last night with my other dog he did'nt think to ask me as I had a dog with me!)it was about 9pm by now!when I went to pick molly up with my other dog, he realized who I was!I asked him if he had heard of doglost.co.uk! and he said never! I give them a poster of her which I had printed and the site address.Mean while they loved having molly over for the night and she was fine,a little quite. She did'nt want to go out into the garden when she got back!the other dogs were over-joyed to see her back so were we!So its a big big thank-you for all your help, and having the site and people there with there much needed help in these's times.A big thank-you to the man and his family for looking after our dog, and getting her back to us.We will be offering our help to this site from now on!where we live here in bude is a big dog haven!there is much need of it and people should really do there bit!who own dogs!I just think some times they don,t no how to!So I will be login-on-to the site most days and if you don't mind droping you an e-mail in ways I think we here in bude can help doglost.co.uk not just with money but time and contacts! big thanks charmainexx mandyxx mollyx anniex bebax codyxx

It was the owners having probs, but hopefully all sorted now. The great news is that Molly is back home! I will leave it to the owners to fill in the details, but well done, wonderful to have a happy ending. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to Molly's owners and emailed advice. They only moved here 6 weeks ago, and are concerned that Molly may not be that familiar with the area. She is described as a friendly dog who enjoys her food. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
