The police are still responsible for lost and found property reports...a dog is classified as property so they should be doing the service.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bad situation, but as least she's safely home. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
DogLostAunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London
Sent owner a text & they rang straight back to say that Jo is HOME. Thankfully ok but AGAIN a situation where a dog owner has logged a report with police & within half an hour the dog was picked up reported to the same police station & nothing was done about it ,leaving the family upset & worried sick about their missing dog.I understand that police are no longer responsible for straying dogs but surely it doesn't take a lot to  tally up reports that come into the same station ,even if they are only sorted or dealt with as lost or stolen property?!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
