Bertie was reunited through posters, owner was notified where Bertie was.  Edited email received this morning: Hello Jan   Just a quick email to let you know how we got Bertie back.   XXXXXXX  We instantly went over to a local house and he was being taken care of very well by a lovely family. Two children out of the family had found him wandering around the close by our house and decided to pick him and take him home.   Our assumptions are that he must have quickly dashed out of the house unnoticed when we have taken our bigger dogs for a walk that night. We ensure to be extra vigilant from now on!   As for what you are all doing on the DogLost website, I think it is great. I have been aware of the website until yesterday, when we needed it most. Keep up the good work. I shall be making a donation to the website in the very near future.   Thank you once again for all your help Jan. Take care.
Kind regards   Thank you so much for the update, great to see POSTER's working their magic once again.  This shows the importance of getting them out quickly, dogs can be moved on and in some cases out of the area.  Well done to the children and family for taking care of little Bertie.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner now and updated his name.  Bertie got out last night approx 18.00 hrs unnoticed.  Family are doing the right things and have started postering and putting posters through doors.  They are going to visit RSPCA themselves, told them it does not open until 1300 hrs for veiwing.  Bertie is also CHIPPED which has now been added to his details.  If owner gets any news they said they will let us know.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tried landline no answer, family are most prob out looking for her.  Text sent and also email with advice/info and contact numbers for the area.  I've spoken to Halewood RSPCA and family have been in touch this morning, there have been no reports of any found up to now, RSPCA will contact myself if any are.  Owners are always advised to keep in contact with RSPCA and also advisable they call in and check themselves or someone who knows Betty.  Will do various size posters and email details out after speaking to family.  Fingers crossed she has been picked up and back home soon.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
