- This girl has now been reunited with her family. Email just received from Lurchernut:
Hi Jan,
The man who rescued the dog rang the Police, who offered to check if she had a chip, so he took her down to them, and she did have a chip, so the Police rang the owner, and gave him the man's details, and he came down to pick her up about 10pm last night. He was in tears when he saw her, and was so grateful that someone had rescued her and kept her safe. He lived in Litherland, and had taken her down to Crosby beach.
So, all's well. This is brilliant news. Well done and 'THANK YOU' to everyone who has helped find her family. Great that the Police also assisted, scanned her and contacted owner. Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and New Year. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-12-13 11:31 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- 00.05 a.m. Had a reply from Lurchernut (thank you) and have updated the details. This little girl was rescued from the middle of the road running amongst the traffic on Oxford Road, it was dark and they were unable to get a photo, she was also very scared. She has been reported to the DW and is being looked after rather than go into kennels. She is not young but neither very old and not thin, looks like she has not been straying too long. Lurchernut is going to try and get a photo, I've uploaded a similar photo. Also advised details are also reported to Halewood RSPCA in case her owner has been contacting them. Fingers crossed her family are found soon. Good luck. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks Lurchernut for registering this girl on DL, I have sent you an email and text. L22 is Waterloo, Merseyside or surrounding area. Would be great if we had a photo. If taken to kennels she may have been taken to Halewood RSPCA. Details will be updated when they are found out. Fingers crossed she is reunited back with her family soon.
