Have the owners been in touch with local radio stations? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Michele has now seen pics of Cody, and she feels that it wasn't the same dog. She believes the dog she saw was darker in colour, possibly with some brindle. Owners have continued to poster the entire area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bumping up Cody as this possible sighting is looking quite positive. Thanks again, SC - well done.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks, SC, that is encouraging. I have passed this on to Cody's owners. They are contacting Michele for more details.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owners have had full advice, and are acting on it. Unfortunately Cody seems to have vanished into thin air.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is a reply from the notice I put on Network Cornwall .  I know that Bissoe is a few miles from Illogan but it’s worth following up.

I vaguely remember a lost Staffy posting and hoping that I also saw a ’found’ notice too.

However today I encountered a female dog of this breed who was collarless and friendly, not distressed in any way at all.

I think she may have been from a local house just there on the trail and didn’t feel compelled to coax her in to my car.

Hoping I did the right thing.

Please do not hesistate to get in touch if your Staffy could be her.

Call 07793 048668

Regards

Michele

Hi, If anyone is in contact with the owner, might be worth checking out milkman or postman and making them aware, also sorting office will sometimes put a poster up.
If owner knows anyone who is usualy around at the time the dog disapeared, may have spotted a strange car or van.

Cody was let into the garden around 7.30.-8.a.m. Although the garden isn't totally secure, she has never looked to wander off, but on this occasion she vanished seemingly without trace. She is described as short legged and small for a Staffy, and is extremely friendly. She has recently had a mammary tumour removed, and has a scar over the operation site. Currently awaiting a photo of Cody from the owner.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
