Thoughts are with everyone involved in trying to help him get home and also his family.  Run free at the bridge and sweet dreams Fergus. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So very sorry to read this. Poor Fergus, and the people who were involved. It must have been awful for them as well. Run free at the bridge Fergus xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The saddest of news, email received from family member: Thank you for your support and efforts. We have managed to locate Fergus, sadly not with the result we had hoped for. He was knocked down on Friday evening, the unfortunate people that were unlucky enough to collide with him thankfully were caring folk and stayed with him until the police and vet could attend to him. He was x-rayed but his injuries were too bad, and he was put to sleep. Another lady somehow learnt about this and contacted my in-laws, his owners, to let them know a little while ago. A sad outcome, but our main worry was that he'd got stuck somewhere and was perishing in the cold weather, at least his suffering was short, and he wasn't alone. Run free at the bridge, sweet boy. R.I.P.
