Dear All, We recieved news that Moogwai was handed into battersea dogs home. She is alive and well and still wearing her blue harness. We are so so happy! A New Year miracle. My mother-in-law is picking her up first thing in the morning. Still can't believe it and hoping that it's not a mistake!! Thank you all so much for all your help. You are such a wonderful group of people and it's great to see such a large support network of dog lovers. I can't express how thankful I am. We'd love to make a donation and knowing it goes toward helping other dog owners be reunited with their loved one. kindest of regards and wishing you all a very Happy New Year Clare and John xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I recieved a message from Clare via Facebook earlier this evening to say that Moogwai is safe and has been handed in to Battersea. She is to be reunited with the family and Gizmo tomorrow morning.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

your friends and family probally already have, but do poster all over Brockwell Park, as its very near you, and target it all the dog walkersposter Clapham train station as well as we all know how busy that is.also the Oval Cricket ground...these places get many people in them. My other half has postered around Peckham Rye as its right near his work, again that has many dog walkers.
I cant imagine how you feel being the other side of the world right now, but you are doing a great job, i commented on your F/B page with some tips the other day,  i really hope she is found so very soon x

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you! It means so much to my partner and
I! I have started a facebook group a few days ago
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=249978602344&ref=nf and are trying to
get the word out as much as possible! We have done flyers, posters and I
have been in contact with dog and dachshund forums. Because we are in Sydney
visiting relatives when this has happened I am doing as much as I can online
and over the phone. Desperate to get back to London. Thank you to you all so
much again. I have passed on all the advice to our relatives in London who
are doing all the footwork. We are crossing all our fingers and toes and
hoping for a Christmas Miracle. I wish you all the very Merriest of
Christmases. Thank you! Clare (c.noz)

also forgot to say...if you have a facebook profile...set up a page for her...this method gets so many eyes looking out for missing dogs, as people will add all their contacts to the page...the more eyes looking out for her the better.

i will print the posters off, and poster round my way, i am not in the actual area, but not a million miles away...my other half works in Peckham so he will poster round there also...just in case.
You need to poster everywhere, she is a small dog so might not been seen very easy. give flyers and posters to all vetinary surgeries,  shops, cafes, cab offices, binmen, postmen,  leisure centres, brownie and scout halls, etc...
i see you have registered on gumtree,..keep looking on there in the dogs for sale section also the other free ads like pets4homes, epupz, ukclassifieds etc..
I really hope she is home so very soon..good luck. x
