We've found him!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe it - still shaking.
Clever socks made it almost all the way to our in-laws house, and was taken in by a neighbour, moments before they were about to go to bed. Bless them when they couldn't get through on our home number, they directory enquired an other Shryane who contacted me.
We raced round there and have our Mooo back.

- Photo above is of all of owner's dogs - Morris is the yellow lab at the rear of the photo. Owner Michael appears to be on holiday in Surrey and dog disappeared on an evening walk. Phone number on dog's tag and in the post below is of owner's home in Cornwall, where the phones are being manned. If you are in the area, I am sure Michael would appreciate some assistance in looking! - Owner's name is Michael.
He is a member of Labrador Forums and posted this thread last night about his lost dog:
My dark yellow working type Lab, Morris, 4 years old went missing this evening in Priory Park, Reigate at about 6:40pm. He's got a thick brown leather collar on, name SHRYANE on one side of disc, telephone number on the other.
He was playing happily with Petroc then just suddenly disappeared in the dark.
We live in Cornwall and the number is 01726 65855 - relatives are manning the phone there.
I've just got in after shouting myself hoarse all round the park and the town. He's microchipped and I've just alerted Petlog.
Can't get hold of the police, and starting to search for numbers for shelters and pounds in the area.
Please, please, please cross post this to any other site anyone can think of.
Am utterly beside myself and don't what to do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
