Hi Joedeeuk, Thanks for explaining how light the chocolate coloured poodles are. PA.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Deejay
Brown poodles are the colour of milk chocolate so wouldn't be confused with a black poodle

Hiya, Before i say anything ive never seen a chocolate poodle so im not being funny asking this. Are the chocolate ones really dark nearly black?  Reason im asking is on Alfieslostdogs there was a mini black toy poodle only 10 months old stolen from a van in Wilstead Bedfordshire in January 2007. He wasnt chipped but you never know. Probably not this found one but mentioning anyway. Who ever had this little boy & let him get in such a state i hope they can be brought to justice. Also that the little one soon get a new loving home. PA.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I understand that the date 25th was a typing error on the original message.  This dog was found on the 18th December (could someone alter this is the main section please). He is young and a nice natured boy.  Poor thing to end up like this.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor little thing, I hope he'll be OK.
Is the found date correct though?  If was found on the 25th, yesterday, he can't already have been treated over three days.

E mail from finder: Even if this isn't your area, or your breed.  Please crosspost so that we
can find the owner of this dog, or the person who abandoned it.  thanks Found in the Willenhall area of COVENTRY, Fri 25 dec. Tied up with an electrical
cable in someones garden. Min Poodle black, not been clipped for 12 months plus.  His coat was frozen
solid ,and surrounded him like an ice cube. He was put under heat lamps for 3
days. He has seen a vet who could only do a minimum examination as the depth of
his coat prevented them getting to his skin and his skeleton. The dog is chipped
to a public house in Derby, the pub phone number does not accept incoming calls
!! The fax just rings and does not take the fax. the mobile on the chip database
is not in use. Coventry wardens are serving notice to the pub BUT are doubtful
that the manager now will have details of previous owner. I have had this dog to look after by the wardens, he is well mannered but
trembles if I hold him in my arms, as if he has somthing to fear. We spent over
12 hours over 3 days to remove his coat 2 persons that is over 24 hours work, 3
baths as the smell was overpowering as we got further into his coat. Perhaps this dog was in a stolen car? perhaps somthing happened to his owner or
perhaps he is just another abandoned dog. Any more info phone 01676 540 341     0796 96 13 964   POLLY -Petsearcher  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
