Good news JADE IS BACK!! We had her back this afternoon thanks to a small army of people coraling her into a side street and then phoning us!!(it really made me laugh but also restores your faith in humanity a bit!) She's quite smelly and a little bit stiff but other than that she seems in perfect health. She's had a big bowl of food and is now sleeping off her little adventure upstairs, completely oblivious to the hell she's put us through for the past 5 days.
I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to you and to the Doglost organisation for your concern and kind words of encouragement at this most distressing time, we really do appreciate it.

- Jade is a whippet/border collie cross, with a coat more collie than whippet. She has been seen around Aberdare since she opened the door and let herself out of the house, but there have been no sightings today. She is quite nervy, and will not approach people. Have emailed advice to the owner, who has been trying to contact the relevant authorities, but hasn't been able to get through as many are still on holiday. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
