- Thanks for posting Digsy, I've just confirmed with RSPCA that his owner has picked him up late on 31.12.09. Well done for taking the time to look after him and contacting the right people. Welcome home feller and into the blue you go. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- 2.20 p.m. I've just contacted the RSPCA, his owner may have been in touch, they are going to the RSPCA to see if this Akita is their missing boy. Kennels close at 3.00 p.m. for the New Year so we will not have an update until RSPCA open again. Fingers crossed he is reunited soon. Good luck. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Photo now uploaded, thanks for sending it. I've spoken to the RSPCA and he is there, they have not had chance to fully check him over as to whether neutered or not. Will update when more info is found out. Jan x Proof of ownership will be needed to claim him if you are his owner.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- These details are all second-hand as this dog (who looks like an Akita to me) was found by my brother in his office carpark in Bootle, near Liverpool. I have a photograph but it doesn't seem to want to upload.
The local dog warden has taken him I assume to a local recue centre. Let's hope he is claimed before it's too late.
He wasn't wearing a collar and isn't microchipped.
