Hi there, any more news on Fizzy? I have a friend who is a pet carer in northsomerset who also has lots of carers in and around the whole of the Bristol and somerset area i have informed her and she has emailed all her clients and carers. Also have you managed to get any info up to the "sheilings" on the back of felton common they are boarding kennels, i know that the lady walks there regurlary and is not far from Regill and your area. I have also informed a friend who goes running that way and lives in Winford, she often runs around by Chew valley lakes and then up through to nepnett so we will all keep our eyes and ears to the ground for you. good luck i cant imagine what you are going through but stay posotive. Thank you Majoret!
I have been in touch with owner 's father since Fizzy went missing and have also sent instuctions on how to register and have asked for an update ,so I dont understand why he did not come back to me as maybe I could have helped but perhaps wires have been crossed ,,,,somewhere.
However it is good news that there has been a sighting, so lets hope she has been taken in and somebody will see the posters.

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Hi,trying to post a comment re: Fizzie ref:21264 but having trouble so can you do it for me?  Fizzie last seen Thursday 30th in the Winford ,Regil area about 5 miles from us through a maze of small lanes along which she's never been walked so she was clearly lost.Everyone has been contacted, dog wardens, kennels etc:local farmers and postmen, newspaper delivery men and a mass of local people and we've put up about 30 posters. Her owner my daughter is now home and was coming up today to help search but the snow has stopped that.Assuming she has not come to harm she may have been "taken in" by someone/some people. She is insured so we can offer a reward so have put an advert in the Western Daily Press for 4 days from this Friday, and hope that the offer of a reward might "flush her out" .Labrador Trust and Rescue are also on the case. She could now be anywhere in North Somerset or beyond.Any other ideas?

Sorry to see Fizzy is missing, the area of Nempett Thrubwell is more Bristol/Somerset (BS postcode) than Bath area. It is only 5 miles from Bristol airport which is a very rural area and has a large fenced off surrounding, also 3 miles away from Chew Valley lakes / picnic area which is very popular with dog walkers etc. May be worth contacting Bristol dogs home also and DW that covers Somerset areas. . I have sent Fizzy's details to Holly Hedge animal/dog rescue in Barrow Guerney Bristol Tel 01275 474719 as they are very close. Hope there is good news of Fizzy soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
