- Dear members & staff at DogLost,
What can we say? We (my daughter & I) are reading all the lovely, kind comments here, so touching & thoughtful. Truly, we have tears in our eyes of joy plus knowing there are some wonderful people ’out there’ whom we have never met before but who have embraced our search for Jessit is quite overwhelming. THANK YOU all for your support, help & invaluable advice: despite our extreme worry for Jess your support helped us to dig in deep & keep going
Jess is here snuggled up snoring now...utterly unaware of the commotion she has caused! :) She is microchipped thankfully, the incident happened in a split second, however, we are hugely relieved she is home, safe & sound :) We would also like to send our thanks to ’Dave’ & his lovely daughter who found Jess & was intrepid in contacting our local dog warden. Thanks to the lady there also who called me with that bated breath "it could be your dog". I was brought up with dogs myself & lived through that ’Lassie’ eralosing your dog is heartbreaking but being reunited is beyond words
Thank you all for your devoted care...with much warmth, Karen & Maria x

- Further info: Jess ran on to Upper Halliford Road and is thought to have headed into fields. Landowner is aware. This is not her usual home, and although she knows the immediate surroundings well, she does not know the area further afield.

- Am to far away to come + help. Americans who lost their ridgy this end cycled about yelling 'LOST DOG' + stuck posters all around neighbors. Lots out + about as it is sunny. Stay strong.

- Jess went missing at midnight New Year's Eve. The fireworks outside panicked her and a friend unfortunately opened the front door without thinking: Jess bolted. We have searched for her for many hours tonight both on foot and by car. My daughter (who Jess belongs to) is distraught.
Jess ran off so fast, somewhere in the Shepperton area, although we realise she may have travelled further. Jess is a pup (5 months) although as a Rhodesian Ridgeback she is already fairly tall (approx 2.5ft). She is a striking 'red wheaten' colour with a 'liver' coloured nose & large white paws. She is quite timid around strangers, cats and other dogs but very well behaved in the home. We are extremely worried and my daughter is inconsolable.
Please, with urgency, make contact if you find Jess or see her, even if you are far from Shepperton: it could be that she may be close by but also she may have ran afar. Thank you.
