Thanks daisy-01 for taking the time to check DL in your search to find her owner, bet you got a shock when you seen her picture.  Great when it all works out and shows the importance as well of having a photo uploaded a.s.a.p.  Power of the Internet.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Wonderful to know lil' Daisy is back home...she's adorable! Again, sterling work from DogLost: the coordination, agility of integral communication & superb care here is so productive. Well done Lynne also...it is so comforting to the owner to know their missing dog has been taken good care of once found. Be safe now lil' Daisy...x!

Hi I'd just like to say how happy we are to have Daisy back and how grateful i am of the family that took her in and of the DL website for all their support, and if it wasn't for their speedy response to emails and getting it up on the site as quick as they could, who knows what would of happened. I'll post back with what the vet says about her limp, nothing serious i hope. Thanks again to everyone who was involved, especially to the family who took her in and took such good care of her. Thanks again Lee x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Chuffed to bits it is her and she is HOME.  THANK YOU Lynn (Daisy-01) you have made her family and DL really happy.  I tried to ring Lynn, no answer, contacted owner and they had got her back early hours this morning, sent me an email below at 05.30 am.  Owner had problems logging onto DL to post an update.  Great to be moving this lovely girl into the blue, she will be getting checked over by the vet and chipped a.s.a.p.  Welcome home Daisy and over you go into the blue.  Lots of hugs and kisses.  Jan x Hi Jan

The lady who found her saw the advert on your website and rang us about half an hour ago, and we've just picked her up.

Had a reply from Daisy's owner (thanks for getting back).  Part of email: We've also made a poster which we've put up around the area and in a few shops. We've contacted the police who gave us numbers to DW's and local pet rescues.

What happened was we put them both in the back garden so we could go out to the front to let the new year in and when we heard the fireworks start to go off we immediately went to let them back in, poppy was there but daisy had just disappeared, the fireworks must of spooked her and she got out. She was only left alone for a few minutes and within this time she managed to escape and vanish. We started looking straight away, but she was nowhere to be seen, which makes me think someone has took her in.

Also she isn't chipped yet, because the vet said she was too small.

Thanks for your help. Family are doing a brilliant job and great the Police gave contact numbers to them.  Hopefully little Daisy has been taken in and once the BH is over and places open or a poster is seen, her family will get the call they are waiting for.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
