- I was actually quite upset when Sam went,he was pleased to see his owner and recognised him out of the window when he pulled up.hes such a lovely little dog but im glad hes gone back to where he belongs doing the things hes used to doing, his owner Graham is going to ring me in a few days to let me know how hes settling back in and of course we will be visiting him and possibly take him out for little outings maybe, but we are definatly going to miss him. Take care little Sam and Welcome Home darling.xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- well... its mad really because he was found on the same day he went missing the man was working in the woods about a mile away and he had followed a runner with a spaniel, then he started following the walkers which is when he was found, cant wait to see his reaction when he sees his owner! just after lunch it should be, ill fill you in then. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Whilst it is nice to know that Sam 's owners have been found I can understand how you feel having to give him up after having looked after him for weeks and got to know him so well! He will certainly notice the difference having to go back to living outside after the luxury he has been enjoying. However he will have his mates to cuddle up to. Would love to know how long he had been lost when you found him and if he had been advertised as lost as I was so certain I had seen his photo somewhere. If not he must have a twin somewhere! Nice that you can keep in touch with him no doubt with the occasional treat?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks shereen for the phonecall, what a surprise his owner has been found. You have done a brilliant job looking after him and great you will be able to visit him. Once it has been confirmed he is back with his owner we can move him into the blue. I'll add his name to his details now. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I cant believe it!!! Ive just been on the phone to Paddy's owner!!! His name is Sam and hes not a travellers dog ,he is a working dog works with ferrets etc he lives in a kennel with about 6 others!!!! so hes had a nice break in the warm. Im meeting with the owner who sounds really nice tomorrow. hes told us we can visit him too which is even better because my Kids, Dogs and I have grown very attached. Im glad tho as im sure he loves his work and i wouldnt want to deprive him of something hes been brought up with. SAMS GOING HOME!!!!!!!.xxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just to say that this little boy is staying with me!!!! hes coming on brilliantly and hes very happy here, he suffered night terrors for about a week but they have passed now and hes learning what rules are all about and loving it!!!! hes a real sweetie my suspicions of him being a travellers dog still stick and have spoken to local dog wardens and they think its sounds like he was one all his life.ive named him Paddy.lol.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- yes i think hes been missing a long time poss stolen a long time ago maybe by travellers? as hes not trained at all, he was definatly out for 1-2 weeks he must of been out in that snow before christmas as he doesnt like staying out in it for long he doesnt want to play in it like my dogs but today he played out with them for about 5 mins but he doesnt think its fun like most dogs,he must of been freezing at some point, hes warm now so thats the main thing. Thanks for your help everyone!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Shereen thanks for the email and update, I've replied now, sorry to see you are having computer problems. A lot of the DL Co-ordinators are on the look out and have also said they seem to have seen him before, which is great and will help you in your search. He seems to have really settled in with you and is one lucky little feller. Speak soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoken via telephone to shereen tonight who is desperately trying to find this lovely boy's owner. I've done a group photo and given links to other lost/found sites to put him on to help spread the word. Good luck shereen and hope you find his owners soon and well done for all you are doing for him, you are a star. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This dog was actually found on the 28th dec,he followed walkers from way down in ipsden valley, this is a very remote area in which the finder knows every body who lives there(about 4 houses/farms)nobody has seen him before,He could of been dumped. The valley backs onto the main reading to wallingford road,so he could of been dropped off there?? the dog remains with finder.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
