I've just been on phone with my vet at Idle regarding Blue ( the nurse knows Blue) and then Northcote Vets and this message has literally just come up so am delighted that  Blue is back home where he belongs I will let the vets know he has been reunited.   Welcome Home Blue - maybe you can get a microchip as a present Helen xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
B30
Blue has been found and re-united with us.
A lovely family temporarily adopted him because he didnt have a coller on. Her children saw the poster i had put up in the park when they were sledging.

She handed him back this afternoon.

Thankyou for your help and adviceLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have also rung owner as this is only approx 2 miles from me. Have advised  checking particularly with Fleet Kennels daily and to also TRY and register Blue with the Leeds Dog warden as it is only a couple of miles further until it would fall into their jurisdiction  Unfortunately, in the past, they wouldnt take details unless a dog was LOST in Leeds but have suggested owner tries with them anyway.  Also recommended vets, pet shops, fish and chip shops in the area to get posters in  - I will print some off myself and put some up around the area after work tomorrow afternoon. Am hoping that someone has just taken Blue in due to the Bank Holiday and that he is reunited soon. Keep safe Blue Helen xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just spoken to Blues owners and he is believed to have escaped from the garden. Owners had only recently moved to this address so Blue will not know the area well and may not have known the way back home. Owners have contacted local kennels and dog wardens and I have advised to check with them regularly and if possible visit the stray kennels in person. Some postering has already been done and hopefully someone will come forward with news of Blue very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Region updated from NW to NE, photo (as in box 2) cropped and reloaded for DL poster, second mobile number added from photo poster details.  Fingers crossed he is found soon and reunited back home with his family.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
