Hi there! Nini was found about 20 minutes after the last sighting, she was still in the same place, on the beach wrestling a seagull for food! The dog warden got there at the same time as Ninis mum and helped them catch her and gave them a lift home. She's a bit on the skinny side but mum's building her back up slowly! I don't think mum will ever let her out of her sight again, thank you sooo much everyone that helped with the searching and advice, the family really appreciate it! :o)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Now that her owner is back home it should make it easier to get her if sighted.  Jotty has already emailed Scenting Instructions etc and I've also discussed again tonight with family on what to do if they see her and warned them she may well not recognise them at first.  Will be praying for all these recently sighted dogs on DL to be in the blue soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is really good news, lots of sightings, and in the same areas. can anyone leave some food now? Maybe if the church has a churchyard, could be a good quiet place, even try a barbeque. Not exactly the weather but the smell will travel miles. Good luck for tomorrow. So rooting for you ! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant the posters are really working that is what you want, all the hard work everyone has put in will pay off and you will get a call allowing you to get to the area in time to see her.  The snow does come in handy sometimes.  I've emailed some links to other pages we discussed earlier.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

19.45 p.m.  Spoken to relative in Merseyside tonight, Nini's owner is back home now and will be going out with others early tomorrow morning.  They have been getting sightings due to the posters, she was seen earlier today and ran into a garden the person who seen her thought she lived there and it was not until they seen a poster they realised she was missing.   Come on Nini we are willing you home.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant vaniran13 for posting an update and thanks for the texts.  Mark all sightings on a map and if possible the time sighted.  Fingers crossed for you.  Thanks Co-ordinator Greylady for spreading the word within the Greyhound community and finding the extra info out, owners really appreciated it especially with not being in the area at the moment.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Part of text update from family: No news, hasn't been a sighting since Monday near Holland Haven.  There are more posters going up today. Due to the weather conditions in Merseyside owner is having problems getting back home to Essex.    Thinking of Nini and hope she is found soon.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Contacted family as recognised a local number to myself in the PosterPhone box.  Nini was being looked after by another relative while owners, who live in Essex, are visiting family in Merseyside.  Nina got out the property last night unnoticed when the door was open.  Owner's have owner her for 5.5 years, she is very timid, shy and got a few teeth missing, was last seen in the Holland on Sea area.  Relative's searched for her immediately and have contacted the DW and Police.  She was being looked after approx 2-3 miles from her home.  The area is quite built up but near open land and not far from the seafront.  I've discussed with family re the Tattoo and the Tattoo Register are able to make contact with someone if she is reported as being found.  Details have been updated postcode, circumstances and mobile number added.  Fingers crossed she is picked up soon and we see her back with her family.  Further advice/info will be emailed to the family.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
