Contacted owner this morning, still no sign of Rolo.. He was on the common with one of their other dogs who was found and handed in by a member of the public who the owners are now trying to trace to thank and ask if Rolo was seen anywhere in the area as it is unusual for them not to have been together. He knows the area very well and would have gone back home.
A local pest control person has covered the area with his spaniel who usually sniffs out any other dogs but did not pick up on anything.
There has been other terriers go missing from this common in recent months and also a spate of  JRT thefts reported in last night's Echo in nearby Poole/Bournemouth area.
