Email from Ozzy's owner to say that they have found him, but that sadly he didn't make it. No further details at present, but owner very grateful for all the help and advice offered. Run free at Rainbow Bridge, handsome boy. Sweet dreams.

I hope Ozzy is found soon, I'm the other side of Notts but will tell my friends to look out for him. I saw his owner's sister had posted details on our online noticeboard at work.

Owner has phoned today. Ozzy is still missing. Mansfield, Asfield and Gedling Dog Wardens have been contacted. Also some  local vets, police and RSPCA.

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
