So glad your boy is home with you. This gives me more hope. My girl has been missing since 30 Dec, almost 7 weeks. But we have had sightings recently. I really am thrilled for you. Love and hugs to all. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

we would like to say thankyou to dog lost for all your excellent advice, trawling the streets putting up posters was so worth it.rodney my best freind was missing for 5 weeks,my freinds and family displayed posters in cars, shops, papers everywhere. I spent every night checking rescues on line, i drove my family crazy. I wasnt going to give up and let some one take my baby.so when, i saw his photo in a southampton rescue, WOW what a feeling. We went first thing and there he was, skinny but very happy to see me. so please never ever give up, there are so many rescues to check, persevere, hes out there some where. Never loose hope, even when others do! cried everyday with sadness, but cried even more on valentines day, to get him back.(tears of happinness} good luck to you all xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Message from Patsy:
Have just had a phone call from a friend in Charlwood telling me that Rodney was found at a rescue in Southampton and reunited with his happy owners yesterday. Apparently, Mandy, his owner, never gave up and has been trawling websites of all rescues and came across his pic and rushed down to Southampton to check him out and it was indeed her boy. He has now been microchipped. Wonderful news and well done Mandy for never giving up. Px

Message from DL helper, Patsy:
Spoke to owner, Mandy, last night. It seems that someone left garden gates open and when dogs went out late the night they got out. Owner's other dog, collie x, was returned by a young girl, but Rodney has not been seen again. Mandy thinks someone opened gates deliberately, poss.
to steal dogs. Mandy has done all the right things:  lots of posters offering large reward, Battersea, dog warden etc all aware. Have suggested she visits Battersea to check out all staffies.
Unfortunately Rodney is not chipped. Mandy and her family are devastated, so please all keep a lookout for this boy and alert any friends in the area, Many thanks. Patsy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
