Just to let everyone know it definitely wasn't Millie that was sighted Wednesday night.  I went round to the couple's house with photos, chatted to them, then to some neighbours and it turns out to be a local dog that had escaped and was then found again.  I am absolutely gutted, but didn't let myself get too hopeful so am not really surprised.  It will be a miracle if I get her home, but I won't ever give up hope.x    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry there has been no news on Millie. Make sure any kennels and dog wardens have a good description PBGV's are often mistaken for cross breeds especially if she has been clipped recently. Good luck with the advert I hope it brings some good news. Stay safe little Millie until you are found xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

e mail from owner: Hi, I just wanted to thank everyone for their help once again, I can not tell you how grateful I am and what a wonderful service you offer. I have a qtr page advert in the Bristol Eve Post on Thursday 21st Jan and am really hoping I get some response from this.   Is there any way Millie could be moved back to the top of the list for Thursday just in case?   Many Thanks, Millie'sMum    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Details below emailed into Admin, will upload photo shortly, contact phone number required, have sent an email to owner including a link to Millie's page. I would like to report our missing dog.  She was last seen on Tuesday Jan 13th at 5.00pm in the Moorend area of Bristol, heading towards the motorway bridge and Church Lane, Downend.  We were out walking and one minute she was there, the next she had disappeared.   She is a 5 year old Pettit Basset Griffon Vendeen and is White with
brown/black brindle patches.  Her name is Millie and she was wearing a red collar with a name tag in a bone shape.
I have contacted the local dog wardens, police, highways agency, local vets and knocked on all the local house doors.
I have also put posters up in the area with my mobile number, offering  a reward.
I have attached a photo.  Please let me know if there is ANYTHING else I could be doing.
Many ThanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
