Have just rung owner to be told the good news that Kodie has now been found and is back home.   She had been taken in the day she was lost. The finders reported to the dog warden on Monday pm but when owner rang them on Tuesday morning she was told there were no similar dogs reported.    Her daughter took missing posters into her school and a girl there realised it was the dog her family had taken in. Thankfully they notified the owner due to the posters. Kodie will be now getting microchipped. Welcome home Kodie Helen xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am so sorry to see that Kodie is missing and thankyou for registering her with Doglost. Please inform you dog warden, vets and local stray kennels that she is missing and try and check with them daily. By law stray kennels only have to keep a dog for 7 days before rehoming or sending them out to a rescue and for this reason it is so important that you do keep checking with them and also try and visit them in person to make sure she is not there. It is vital that you POSTER POSTER POSTER as much as you can to raise the maximum public awareness that Kodie is missing.  Have you tried knocking on doors in the streets surrounding your home to check no one has picked her up and taken her in or saw her on the day she dissappeared ?  I hope this lovely girl  is home again with you very soon xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
