Hi Hayley - You are very welcome - but you did all the hardest work yourselves. Well done for protecting your boys with the microchip and having them neutered really helped in your situation. We have BOTH our babies back!!!!!     No lasting damage to either of them - thank goodness!  We're settling down for a quiet weekend together.  Thank you to everyone for your help, support and kind wishes.  Doglost.co.uk is a remarkable network.  Incredible support and lots practical help.  Big thanks to Yasa, you're a star!

I am so happy one of the dogs have been found. My thoughts and prayers are with the owners and the missing dog. I have been following these guys since they got lost as I am on posting about my dog Sarafina. Hoping for good news soon.

Good and bad news. Just took a call from owner - Archie has been found at Fakenham in Norfolk after being thrown out of a van - poor little devil, but it sounds like he is ok. Rory is still missing. He could still be loose in the original area, or could have been also thrown out, anywhere along the route from Cambridge  to Fakenham, or further. Please anyone who can poster, would be a real help. If you want posters leave a message here. Thanks. I hope Rory will be found safe too, owners have worked so hard.

The size comparison between the two dogs is shown in the main pic. Head shot, also now uploaded. Have emailed Scenting info doc- General advice sheet- Postering guidelines- Media Contacts-Cambs Dog warden contacts-and Rescue centes East Anglia doc. From owner :- Rory is 5 nearly 6 years old.  Deerhound greyhound cross.  Dark Grey with white bib and (some) white toes.  Archie is a mystery background wise, a real Heinz 57.  We think he's a terrier, greyhound/whippet cross of some description.  He's 2 years old.  Archie is very people friendly and inquisitive, Rory is the nervous Nelly of the two but the more head-strong.  
Last seen at Hill Rise Park, St Ives.  Midday Saturday 16th January.  Heading across fields towards, Wyton, Woodhurst and surrounding villages.

Have spoken to owners and given initial advice re scenting both the area of loss in the park, and the carpark where the dogs are unloaded for their walks. Have advised to leave food and items of owners clothing and to return to the area break of day as just getting light in the morning as this is when dogs may be about hunting. They were taken there by car the day of loss and actualy live about 20 mins away by car, so may not find their way home too easily. Owners have notified the authorities - DW, Vets, Police, and newspapers have all been informed and postering has already begun. Will do DogLost poster and flyers this evening. I do hope these two sweethearts will be home soon.
