Jan, you're a star - well done to you, the DW and Leigh Cats & Dog's Home for helping to reunite Chester with his owners. Welcome home Chester - I presume this precious boy will be getting a chip and an ID tag on his collar as a welcome home present!

13.00 p.m.  Just spoken to Leigh Cats & Dog's Home Chester was picked up by the DW and handed into Leigh who matched him via the Doglost poster included in the emailing out I'd done.  'THANK YOU' Leigh for checking the posters great when the system works.  Jan x

19.15 p.m.  Update from owner, while out looking for Chester yesterday a lady said she saw him: Bamfurlong near the post office in Platt Bridge on Tuesday 19th Jan and he was on his own.  She has seen a photo of him and is certain it was Chester.  Jan x Bumped due to recent sightings.

Thanks karenjrad for letting us know and helping out in the search for Chester, I've left a message for owner.   Hopefully once the posters start getting circulated more sightings will come in.  Thanks also to those who have replied to the emailing out offering to look out for him.  Jan x

Hiya, Just been told possible sighting in Bamfurlong area, will go out this afternoon and poster and have a walk through Viridor Woods to see if he is there.

22.20 p.m.  Various size posters emailed to family with further local info/advice on things to do and places to contact.  Over 300 Posters and details emailed out to Rescues, RSPCA's, Dog Training Clubs, Merseyside Pet Ambulance, DL helpers in area and surrounding NW areas, also Co-ordinator's Goldenfrodo and RileysMum.  If anyone is able to help with the postering and spread the word please let us know and posters can be emailed to you.  Thanks.  Fingers crossed once the posters start getting circulated Chester is reunited with his family soon.  Good luck.  Jan x

Thanks Goldenfrodo I've spoken to owner now and updated the details.  Chester has gone missing on 14.01.10 from another relatives house which is not that far from their home, family have had him about nine months.  They have contacted DW, Leigh Cats & Dog's Home and visited Manchester Dog's Home.  I'll email further advice/info and do various size posters a.s.a.p.  His owner does not have immediate Internet access but will get the posters etc printed elsewhere.  Jan x
