it wasnt her..the lady emailed and said she didnt have a chip, also the markings under her chin an legs are different. thanks for looking though

thank you for looking at many tears..i have emailed them as its to early to ring at the mo. her face has the same markings in fact exact same but i think molly has a little more blck at the top of legs. any way i have asked them to check. many thanks for thinking of molly. Tracey x

Have you had a look at Many Tears site on dogpages. They have a '3yr' old cavalier ex breeding bitch. The age could be wrong. One rescue recently showed a 5 yr old which turned out to be 14!!! They are home checking for her though. Chris

Hi Twizz. Thanks for posting on Lilly's page 1.3.05. I have come to the conclusion that our only hope is Lilly's microchip that will get her back home. Hi Tracey, I met up with a friend who has 4 cavvies today, I looked after the older 2 for 3 years and the 2 pups for 7 months on a daily basis, anyway we met up today and I was amazed at how diffarent the pups are now as to when I took care of them, that is 12 months ago. What I am saying is that Molly will look so diffarent now, she will be fuller and all her markings will be better now. Can you not get a picture of her mother or father? I will start again with posters but this time I will send them by post to vets,pet shops in kent, may I suggest that you also send posters but maybe further afield. Have you updated your micro chip company? Justine

Hope Molly comes home soon. If I lived nearer to you I would approach the travellers for you, there is usually ONE person on site who will talk to you. I am not trying to sound patronising here but we live in a village that has more than its fair share of travellers. I realised a long time ago that if you treat them the same as you would anyone else then they are OK to you. I mean, don't go barging up to them saying I know you've nicked my dog (even though you'd probably like too, i know I would). Just pull up to the site and ask anyone who might be around if they could ask around if anyone might have seen Molly. Tell them that you are really upset and desparate to find her and also say that there is a reward. DON'T say she's been stolen!!!! Just say that she's missing and where she's missing from (road, area whatever). Hope it might be of some use to you or anyone else who has had their baby stolen. Tracey, dont think like that. Someone as just got their dog back which was stolen 4 years ago. He was traced through his chip. They didnt stop looking for all that time and it paid off. He still remembers his name Fred bless him.xxx

thank you caroline and laura for you messages..i often wonder if i will see molly again,. i dont really believe i will. no one is going to reconise her from her poster as she will have grown so my only hope is if she is chucked out and picked up by an honest person who will hand her in to the dog warden so she can be bought back home that way,.

thanks kerry...didnt get very far with the posters today..printed off 3 and although the ink cartrigh was new the colour ran out..cant believe this i only got it a few days ago..so the posters will have to go on hold for another week. Tracey x

Tell me about it Tracy. I asked in the local paper shop(a man who I always thought was very nice). He said Im only putting 1 up that was a week ago. Its still not on view in his shop. Im going in tomorow if hes not going tp put it up Ill take it somewhere else. And its the last time I will go in his shop. What harm can it do for him to put up the poster. been out putting posters in some shop windows..had very negative feedback from a few people today, saying its been awhile and i wont see her again. if you have nothing nice to say dont speak to me..this is hard enough with out negatine comments.. i had one nice older lady stop to stroke my other cavvie i took for a walk and she said to me ..i have seen the ad for another cav that has been stolen..i told her it was mine and she took a poster. had a nice chat with her..Tracey x

Hi Tracey, i have just been catching up, sorry its been a long time. I very much doubt they would use her fighting, they put money on the dogs and no one would put money on the cavelier as they are not fighting dogs, they also tend to use Staffy on Staffy or a Jack Russell. I know what you mean about her being 10 months old, it has been 3 months since Jake was taken and he would have changed so much, i just hope he isn't learning any bad habits. I do not know why people have to steal our dogs, its makes me want to cry sometimes, as they are not the most expensive things in the world. People just don't realise how much they become part of the family. I agree about this boy, he certaintly needs a good something, kids can be so cruel, he would have no idea about Dog fighting, they are very hush, hush so no 13 year old boy would have a clue. I am sure Molly and Jake are out there somewhere, and i am sure they are just waiting to be found. I am sure some good news will be with you soon and i hope the same for Jake, they cannot keep them hidden for long! Thinking of you! Sarah & Murphy x

We do all we can and yet they still get stolen! caroline just read you message again..i dont think i can get near enough to these sites to take photos..they are well hidden behind bushes and off off long lanes . there is no way i could just walk in. but i can put these posters up around the area..the bloke i spoke to said if we were to put up posters of our dogs and the gypsys saw them they would just move the dog on but i said to him if we didnt put up posters then jo public wouldnt see them so we really are in a catch 22 situation. Tracey, found out the other day when contacting yet another TLO that sometimes the dog wardens for the council go on the sites, it's good to have two points of contact within the same district, most TLO's I've spoken to have been really helpful and dog lovers themselves. I always make sure to tell them that I am just covering all my options and not accusing anyone of anything and that I am just desperate to find my Dolly (6.2.05)

That's the problem.... no one will go in.... not even the police! We did go in last month at a site in Oxforshire and was first met with a very intimidating welcome and then when we said why we were there it was like it was an every day occurance. (Didn't help us either) I have just picked up a message about a dog found on Dartford railway track..... i have just finished drying my eyes! How very very cruel! I'm going to plaster the multi poster around all traveller sites in Hampshire and Berkshire (if i can get their whereabouts from the liason officers), and will take photos with my phone of ANY dogs i see round and about, so we can compare with dogs on the site. thanks laura. i just had a call back from another person in this office who was very friendly and told me the manager of this site is away so wen he gets back and goes on his weekly visits he will keep an eye out plus he is on friendly term with them and would know if a new dog appeered..allso he is going to keep check of all the other site they visit on a regular basis. feel a lettle better now. well as you know and some of you dont there was a gypsy liasion officer going on to the gypsy site wednesday (yesterday) where someone said they saw molly..well i waited for them to call but no call came..so by 4 pm i called them but no answer must have had and early day or couldnt be bothered to answer phones..anyway i called this afternoon and was told they would ring me back as person on phone had to find out who was dealing with it..well suprise suprise no phone call again. so i still dont know if she is there of probly been moved on by now. will call again in the morning and stay on phone till i get an answer. Thanks for the PM Tracey! I'd love for Luci (missing Whippet 28/01/05) to be included on the multi-poster & would be happy to distribute them in my area (Beds & Herts). I'm desperate to get my baby back. I miss her like crazy and will not give up. It's getting to the point now that I will need to get another dog to keep my little JRT Moxi company, this dog will NOT be a replacement for Luci. But on the very odd occasion when I need to leave Moxi home by herself she gets stressed on her own, but never used to mind as long as Luci was there. Since losing "B" i cannot bring myself to adopt another dog, i work at an animal shelter in Cambs, fall in love daily with the dogs & puppies but cannot commit. Hi Tracey, I know you wont give up on Molly,but so many people find it too hard to cope with and find it easier to just "get on with life". I am so fed up of people telling me to just get on with life,as if our dogs never came into our lives or that we love them less now they are away from us. I have had 10 months of this,others have had far longer! We all need to keep on trying nomatter how hard it is or how upsetting it is, we owe this to our dogs as they never wanted to be stolen. The only problem with the Gypsy Liason officer is that they tend to deal with the council ran sites more. But try them it may help. The other thing you could try is putting a picture of molly with just the reward money, right outside there camp! Gypsys love Money! That is what Marian did (reuntied Suzy) and it says the message loud and clear to them! Sometime the gypsy camps have stories which surround them, and some of them i have heard aren't true. I have heard the ones with kids are usually not that bad and the kids are so nosey, that they all want to know what it is you are looking for. Really wish i could help some more! Hi thanks for your message, its busters mum, ring the council and ask if they have a gypsy liason officer, tell him you are going on the site and need some help from him, if he is like ours he will probably go with you, although they just do a quick drive around. Try speaking to the dog warden again as he is allowed to scan any suspicious dogs on there or talk to PC Shrapel his number is on daschund reunited page hes from your area and is really cool. He tried to help me up here in Doncaster. Best scenario is to all meet up with a set of baseball bats, but that is highly unlikely, but it does make you feel that way doesn't it. Fingers crossed Twizz that it is Molly, have you thought about going into the camps and just enquiring about your dog being missing, ask them if you can leave a poster there incase they see the dog? and state there is a reward. If you do decide to go in maybe make sure someone is with you, you have to remember not accuse people but simply ask for there help? If the camp is to dangerous, maybe you could see if it is a council run camp?

hi all..been printing out loads of posters this weekend and putting them up everywhere. got a shock this am walking round the bootfair 10mins from home,my 13yr old saw a tri colour cav..we went running after her to ask the lady some questions.this dog was 7 months old(molly will be 9months) it had same markings as molly and to be honest if it wasnt for the fact this dog was male i wouldnt have known..didnt know it was male till id spent 10mins fussing dog. lady was very nice.was such a shock seeing this dog though. made me wonder if i would reconise molly. as i said before she will be so big now. ok wat would i have done if this dog was female..wat would i have done if for a minute i thought it was molly. (well i did wonder thats why i went running after her). any ideas anyone in case this happenes again when im out? Tracey

just seen the man who lives in this house with 2 dogs..one was a little black dog..not molly..my sister spoke to him and they are the only dog he has.. i think this is what this man saw.. so we are now bk to square one looking for molly again. Tracey

still no news..there is a goldie colour dog that has been seen in there garden. dont know if this is wat the person who called in saw because he just said he saw a glimpse of a dog there. we think we can here another animal scratching at the door but not sure if its even a dog or not..kids all off school today coz of the bad wheather so they are playing up around that way to see if they can spot another dog there. Twizz it was the weekend after she went missing, I was buying xmas presents in the village, on the saturday. I am so sorry i didn't mention it before, I feel such an idiot, but I honestly thought they were commonplace dogs in the area. Most cavs that I see are old looking with scrappy hair but this one was young and neat, just like in your photo. I know that the police shop by the entrance to that road had a dog lost pic of a shepherd that went missing in the window too so i'm sure they'll put one up for you and that wouldn't come down - it's right on the road too so you'd get a lot of people looking at it. Obviously as the dog was lying on the front seat I couldn't see if it was male or female. If she has been sold on to someone like this then the chances are she's still with them, the dog certainly looked well cared for. I hope I'm not raising your hopes unnecessarily but in the light of your comments about never seeing any I thought it important to let you know.

Twizz I just read on dog pages that you haven't even seen any tri colour cavs in your area and that made me start thinking back - I thought about it at the time but I'm ashamed to say I thought they were common in the area... but the weekend after twizz went missing, I saw one just like her in the front passenger seat of an older ladies car. It was a light blue metro/nova style car, in west malling high street. i was walking past tesco, past the crossing and she turned right into the road that leads to the school, i'm sorry i don't know the name. It was just because she looked like molly that i noticed, but I then thought oh it's an older lady, the dog looked well and settled on a seat cushion type of thing and I dismissed it from my mind. The lady was of retirement age I guess and it was the sort of dog i expected her to have in a car. I don't know, obviously, if it was Molly - the likelihood is that it wasn't. She must've been local to have known that road to turn down, non locals usually don't even notice it's there unless they're on foot. The car came from the Bull end of the high street. I don't know if this helps you or not, i'm sorry I didn't mention it earlier. At least if nothing else you might be able to pop over the west malling and poster that area? I think if i'm right, if you carry right on down that road it eventually comes out near viking oak kennels at wrotham. Best of luck Dee

no we havnt had any publicity really, did email the km twice and phone ..i did pay 4 an ad to be put in for a week but no paper would want to run a story..even the poster we put on our own back gate was ripped down. i dont hold out any hope of getting her back. with no phone calls and no leads i have nothing to go on. Hi and sorry I have not been able to contact you sooner,computer problems again!!! I have put up loads of posters in Faversham,Seasalter,Whitstable,Sittingbourne and some in Medway. I also did a big post to all the supermarkets,pet shops and vets in same area,also Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough for Alfie (my stolen Yorkie,May 19th,please see his page) I put your posters in too,I hope it helps. thanks zoe and jenny any anyone else who leave me messages, im out this morning in a different area putting up more posters, going to make calls to all the local dog centres and vets this afternoon to remind them.. saw an ad on a web site last night offering a springer pup in wales..was found in a rescue home an(long way from home) was 16 weeks old..called on the off chance but this pup was a different colour, they were in wales too..so i know it was a stab in the dark, was a different breed to molly but i had to check. couple of young boys have just seen the poster on my mums front door, they said they saw molly round the local shops (martin square) with a tall bloke. they said to him "thats a cute dog" and he replied "yeah i found her". this was about 4pm..been out looking and my partner is driving round now..

had 2 phone calls in 2 days by different people telling me they saw her down at the local R.S.P.C.A centre, so called them but the line was busy, so i have just been down there but it wasnt her. at least my ads have gone into 2 different papers this week. hoping it will help.

Sorry to hear about Molly.I live in Faversham Kent and will help put posters up. I found it helpful to put posters in all supermarkets,pet shops,vets,garden centres,boarding kennels etc I went through yellow pages and did a huge mailing in and around my area,although my dog is still missing I got a huge responce from people in Kent.
