Barney ran off this afternoon at 2.15 pm down Rother View Road in the direction of Centenary Way. Local vets and  Rotherham Dog Warden have been notified and owners tried to ring Mount Pleasant kennels but by then they were closed. They will be postering tomorrow and will ring both the dog warden and Mount Pleasant again. I  have advised them to visit Mount Pleasant in person if possible and have explained the 7 day rule to them. His chip details are not up to date and the phone number is no longer in use. Also his owner no longer lives at the address on his tag however the person living at this address now  knows  his owner. I have advised they contact the chipping company in the morning to alert them Barney is lost and that his contact details are incorrect.Barney is described as a gentle, timid and friendly boy and I am hopeful someone has taken him in and he will be returned tomorrow either via posters or the dog warden. x Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
