Just had a text from owner to say that Chance is now back home. Owners friends daughter happened to see Chance with a young lad with a belt round his neck. The lad kept him for 3 days. Welcome home Chance. So pleased you are now back where you belong. Barbara xx

I am so sorry that your gorgeous dog is missing.  You could ring Radio Mercury (based in Crawley) and ask if they would give out over the radio about your missing dog and also get in touch with the Crawley Observer newspaper asap to see if you could get an advert in this Wednesdays edition.  You would need to get in touch with them tomorrow (Monday) to get it in this weeks paper or you will have to then wait another week before the advert could appear in the paper.  It is well worth doing as the majority of people buy a local newspaper.  Good luck and I hope that you find your cute dog soon. Poster, poster,poster. That is all I can say. That and be out in your car with windows down yelling for your baby. I truly believe that if I had had a car the night Sarafina went missing she would be home with me right now. Good luck and lots of prayers and crossed fingers for a speedy safe return. xx

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
