- Spoke to owner again tonight . The chip co has been located via the previous owners vet and now Sams details have been updated to the current owners . Still no news of him sadly but at least if found and scanned from now on the details will be current. More posters have been put up around the area. Am keeping my fingers crossed this boy is found soon Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Rang owner tonight for update.... Sam is still missing though owners received a call regarding a similar dog in Middleton. However, when they checked it out and saw the dog it turned out it does have an owner but is let out to wander. Owners have been out and putting posters up and posting flyers again. They received a text yesterday of another similar dog but the person said they tried to feed it but ran off. The description was that it was very similar to the dog in the posters put up so owners are going down this evening to check the area and put more posters up. Fingers crossed !!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Blimey ! It's like a quick draw owner got post on before I did though :-))) It is thought that Sam was spooked by a loud bang that went off when owners partner was working on a vehicle ( he was caught on camera running off ). The area has already been walked by owners with their other dogs in case Sam had gone down a hole - but no scent picked up. We discussed the importance of getting lots of posters up around the area ie dog walking areas, vets, pet shops etc. as Sam isnt chipped or had a collar on at the time. The dog wardens have been notified and owners have been checking with Springfield and Mount Pleasant.Suggested checking in person at the kennels. Sam is also going to be put in the Yorkshire Evening Post this week. Hopefully owners will get some good news soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
