- You are one lucky little girl, Lacey! First, you got caught up, so you couldn't run into the road. And second, the car that you were caught under didn't try to drive off. You must have 9 lives. Take care now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- 07.05am - Really pleased to see that Lacey is safe - bet that she was really scared but this time the lead getting caught kept her safe under the car - albeit covered in oil. Stay safe now little one xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I am so glad that Lacey was found safe and well if a bit dirty, i have been unable to post on the site due to being out looking for her, and having family commitments this evening. Stay safe now little Lacey no more pulling the lead out of your mums hand. A big thank you to all of those i contacted that went out looking, a nice quick happy result is what we like. Annette.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- What a relief! Can I say a big thank you to everyone who offered support today including telephone calls and advice. I am very grateful. Lacey found under car lead jammed around tyre, despite people being in area and calling her name no response, it was only when it got dark, frightened and no doubt she was hungry that she started to whimper and children found her, looks like she was stuck there for at least 10+ hours. Until today had never heard of 'doglost.co.uk', the support from everyone has been great, I will keep a watchful eye on this sight and if I can assist with anyone in a similar situation I will definitely do so. Lacey says 'thank you' and after her first bath, she is now bounding around the living room. Thank you all.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Great news - LACEY IS HOME!!!! Just got a text from one very happy Frances to say she was found stuck under a car wimpering and covered in oil. Oh poor Lacey, but so pleased she is now safe and sound. Thanks to everyone who helped to search - glad it was a nice quick reunited this time! Frances will post an update I am sure but she is also going to stay on as a helper too so that's great to hear.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you to those looking out for Lacey, in my efforts of being a new and responsible dog owner after 15 years, can't believe the lead came out of my hand. All the family have been out looking to the point that I am so exhausted - I'm concerned she is trapped somewhere. We've covered all the areas nearby have gone down to Old Harlow, Churchgate Street, Church Langley and brother has been at Felmongers etc. Will keep you all posted. - Owners should check the allotments behind Felmongers. There are woods just off of these allotments and foxes etc over there. She could well have made her way over there. Let us know if you need a search team. We will go out looking today. Have added her to Southern Lurcher Rescue site as we are local to the search area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Lacey ran off at 8.15am this morning. She was being walked, near Marks Hall School/Sports Centre by London Rd, and as owner bent down to give her a biscuit, Lacey spotted something, tugged at the lead and was off. She is a JRT x Labrador but is much more JRT like. She was wearing a high vis jacket and also still had an extendable lead attached. Owners have been out searching and are still out now. They'll email a photo over this evening as then we'll do posters, flyers etc. They've alerted council and will get in touch with vets etc. I've spoken to DL helper Netty and she's on the case and will spread the word.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
