This is just such fantastic news. I am so thrilled for Ruby and her parents. I have been following each day except for the last two days and wouldn't you know it that's when she comes home!!!!! I am just so elated, not nearly as much as Ron and his wife. I hope whoever stole her spends lots of time in jail. Welcome home little Ruby. You had many, many people willing you home and looking for you sweetheart. Such super, super news. xx One quick note, I was just looking on Alfie's lost dogs and Ruby is still listed as missing. Great coverage in the Streatham Guardian - hope that this publicity will be instrumental in getting Ruby home. ellejay - thanks to both you and your OH for helping to get those posters out so that Ruby will become the best known and hottest girl in town. From information received, it seems likely that Ruby is (or was) in the Streatham area and so, until we get further information or sightings, it would be great if you could help to cover that area, as well as surrounding areas as you well know how these little dogs can travel! I can get to Streatham on Saturday and poster the area, also my other half can poster round Peckham where he works, as you never know..
I have also put posters up in Bromley, though now i know its Streatham area i can concentrate there...
Do we know if this is a cert that it is Streatham ?????????
I cant do tomorrow i am afraid as i am busy all day and night, but i really hope she is found so very soon, hopefully with her being in the local paper will help loads.
Get posters up in ALL shops, cab offices, parks, cinemas, post offices, schools ( if they allow ) brownie and scout groups etc in Streatham,

I've been following Ruby's page, we now have a pug in our family, he is 9 months old and they do attract attention when you take them out.  Some are very hard to tell the difference, can see Ruby has a distinctive marking on her head.  Great she is chipped and spayed. Wishing her family lots of luck and hope she is found soon.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Some good news and bad news, eh? Good to hear that the police will ask local press to alert people that it seem likely that Ruby is in the Streatham area. Hopefully someone will notice a 'new' pug in their area or along thier street and so, hopefully, it will only be a matter of time when Ruby is reunited with her worried family, having made her too hot to handle! Fingers crossed...xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

ellejay, good to see you posting and helping Ruby's owner. That preloved ad sounds a possibility especially as the age is right and indicates that the pug might be spayed. Let's face it, many of a lost dogs travel miles and rarely under their own steam and Liverpool isn't that far away and would only take a matter of hours. You are certainly the right person to have on Ruby's case as you've 'been there' yourself!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Under what circumstances was Ruby stolen? if known it may help in offering advice. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
*Amber*
I am so sorry that little Ruby has been stolen, how awful for you.  You need to get out and put as many "stolen" posters up with a photo of her as you can.  Put them not just your area, but surrounding areas, and as far away as you can manage.  Hopefully the men who stole her will see the posters and get cold feet.  I hope you get your beautiful girl home very soon!  xx
