Those involved were the lovely dinner ladies at St George's School, Daisy Hill, the policeman who finally gained her trust was Keith Atherton. He rang last night with all the details and to see how Millie was doing. Millie has settled in perfectly and is probably wondering what all the fuss was about...she was just having an adventure !!! If only she culd talk !!!

Yipee, our baby is home safe and well. Westhoughton Police caught her today & brought her home to her family. She is all skin and bone, absolutely filthy, but was sopleased to see us. I can't thank all those involved with the search enough, you are all angels ! If you're reading this and your dog is missing, DO NOT GIVE UP. Millie has been gone 6 days and I have looked day and night, POSTER POSTER POSTER is so important - that's how they recognised Millie, off a poster in a burger van near where she had been sighted !!!!!! Thanks doglost...you have a special place in my heart.

17.00 p.m.  Spoken to janey01 earlier and gone through what to do when they see her.  She was on a farm and when they seen her earlier today she ran off which was upsetting for her them.  The landowner has been very helpful and will leave food for her in case she returns again (THANK YOU).  Owner's are in the area now looking for her and have also taken their other dog.  Great if Millie stays in this area until her family find her as it is safe and away from roads. Various size posters now done and emailed to family and Paula Marie (who is also in the area at this moment), will email to others if she is not found soon.  Hopefully once the posters start getting circulated the sightings will start coming in.  Good luck.  Jan x IF SIGHTED PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND CATCH BUT RING NUMBER ON POSTER A.S.A.P. THANKS  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
