Thanks for the text this morning spindle, just what we wanted to hear that the lovely Bodie is now back at home where she belongs.  Just goes to show you can't predict the direction a dog will travel in, she went south and we all thought she would go west!  Well done to the jogger for doing the right thing, there are some other lovely people around!  I will take down Bodie's posters in the next few days, can't wait for the reunited pic.  Stay safe now you little monkey.x.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Great news Bodie has been found. She was found by a lady who was jogging in village near J17 of the M4.  She was wet and bedraggled and confused but thank goodness she bent down and gently called her.  She trotted off home on the end of a spare T shirt  where finder called number on her disc..  Family absolutely thrilled to have her home, will put reunited photo on as soon as I can.  Welcome home Bodie. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That sounds great. I covered a few more villages with posters today - Nettleton, Burton, Yatton Keynel, Sherston and Badminton. Called all the local radio stations as well, although with limited success. They were all very concerned, but could not promise including an announcement (although they might). However, they often receive calls when people find dogs, so they know where to find me now. Just waiting on sightings now..... Come on Bodie, pull it out of the bag.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

you've certainly covered a lot of ground today Russell!  doglover and I will poster areas in and around Dodington, Codrington, Old Sodbury, Chipping Sodbury, Yate and Westerleigh over the next couple of days.  We'll try and do Pucklechurch and Siston aswell.  Anywhere else you would like postered, please post.  Come on Bodie, show yourself.  Fingers crossed we get some calls soon.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks everyone for all your hard work. Today I have put up posters in Acton Turville, Luckington, Littleton Drew, Alderton, Grittleton, Hullavington, Norton as well as at public bridlepaths in between and some of the roads that look like people walk on, all the way to Old Sodbury. Tomorrow, I'll go as far as Yate which should join the efforts so far and then I'll focus on areas further north into Gloucestershire. If our helpers can do what they can north and south of the M4 towards Bristol I don't think we will have left any areas out other than to go east towards London. If Bodie is being true to form, she will not have gone that way for long. My intention is to continue to widen the circle until we have a sighting.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
