This must have been a very hard decision for his owners to make but I know that Shereen will give him a lovely new home and I am sure his original owners will keep in touch to see how he is getting on, sometimes these little working terriers just have a mind of their own and like to go off on adventures - it looks like this little guy is one of those independant souls ;-))Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Well done Shereen, I'm sure little Sam will be very happy back with you and it sounds like his owners have made the right choice and future for lovely Sam, which must of been very difficult for them. Welcome home , to your new home Sam, be good. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I just want to Clear up few things here...Sam has only gone missing two times in the time his owners have had him, first time was when he was working,he followed a runner, which is when he ended up with me,and this time when he was in the garden with all the other dogs the reason he didnt have a collar on is the nature of his work as it is dangerous and could easily get caught up  the owners are brilliant with thier dogs and have had working dogs for over 30 years and have never had problems with them going off before,I think its just in Sams nature to do this,He loves people which i think say alot for his owners bringing up very ballanced dogs!! after very carefull consideration they have decided that he is not suitable for the work any more and im going to have him back with me to live the owners are upset as it is a worrying time when you cant find your dog so please be sypathetic to thier feelings.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Nice work shereen - well spotted! Now I have to ask, if this little lad is such an escape artist, why oh why isn't he chipped and tagged, as owners might not be so lucky the next time. I'd certainly make sure that he gets one of each as a welcome home present!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
