POSSIBLE SIGHTING AT KENILWORTH GOLF COURSE CREWE LANE - A chap who spotted her says he is 80% sure it was her, at holes 5 and she ran towards hole 6 so if you know anyone that golfs at Kenilworth Golf Course, please tell them about her, the reward still stands. She could be living rough there as I have been told about a stray cat that lived there for years, I have been up there searching.

Bumped due to sightings. There have been a couple of sightings of a young brown puppy and 2 other dogs wandering around a local camp site. The dog warden is going to check it out. Fingers crossed everyone.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Update from owner. Another update for you.  Yesterday, I went around all the vets in Balsall Common/Coventry and all the pets at home, with a new poster  which will also appear in the Leamington Courier, Warwick Courier and Kenilworth Weekly News on Friday,as a quarter page advertisement. I am awaiting to see if they will do an editorial. Fingers crossed. We also spoke again with the local poacher, whose dog, which is much bigger than Marthur, went down rabbit holes etc in the woods and he has found no sign that she is there, alive or not he is sure he would have found some evidence, be it bones or otherwise.  He thinks she ran and someone must have her.  I can only hope that is the case as we have had a few cold nights here.

Email from owner. Just to giving you another update.

Yesterday I searched all woods and farmland in a five mile radius, we posted more posters in next town and in local rugby clubs, I have placed an advert in the coventry post (i think it is) and warwickshire times.

Today I have been to all the local farms and spoke to most of the farmers in the off chance they may have her or she is in an out house somewhere.  I have been in touch with the kenilworth and leamington weekly news and placed a 1/4 page advert which will appear this Friday and the editorial team want to get in touch, so I'm awaiting that.  I'm meeting my friend Lou with her dogs at the woods where I lost Marthur.

I have sent owners some useful info. They are very pro-active and are being helped by the dog warden who has been out searching with the family. A local vet and his wife are also spreading the word as are the local guide dog walkers. They even have a poacher helping them who knows the woods inside out. Today they are going to poster the next town. Stay safe little one.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
