Jay and I will never forget this mornings events! It was fantastic being at the right place at the right time and seeing Max pop out from the bushes. I didn't think for one moment we would even see him let alone get him home.Mark got there so quickly and it wasn't long before he was walking towards me with Max on the lead. Poor Mark was so emotional and Max was overjoyed seeing his dad again. Were so glad Max is back home in the warm with his family. Kate xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

WOO HOO, just had one very happy owner on the phone. Max is now safely back home with his family. His dad has been out all morning searching for him. I went out straight from work and drove all around where he had recently been seighted. Max's dad found him not far away near to a school, he ran off at first when he spotted his owner but eventually he came to him after being held up down an alley way. He is ok, a bit wary and has lost a bit of weight but is apparently bouncing around as normal. I am so please, nice and quick into the BLUE is what we like to see. BIG BIG kisses from me. Stay safe Max xxxxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

22.10 p.m.  Various size posters emailed to owner, further info/advice and Scenting Instructions were emailed earlier to  them. Posters also emailed to Co-ordinator RileysMum, Halewood & Warrington RSPCA and local helpers in the Widnes area.  If he is not back home soon I'll go further afield with the emailing out.  If anyone is able to help with the postering and spread the word please let us know and posters can be emailed to you if not already received.  Thanks.  Jan x IT IS IMPORTANT IF SIGHTED NO-ONE TRIES TO CATCH HIM BUT RING OWNER'S A.S.A.P.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Mark, i am so sorry to see your Max is missing. I live in Widnes and was just on my way home from warrington when i got the call about Max. I have just driven all around near the tip, up the side of the eight towers pub, all around the back of B & Q and the other units. It's really dark and my night vision camera was at home so i couldn't see much i'm afraid. I stopped and had a word with a police woman who was pulled up near the eight towers round about, i mentioned that Max was missing and had been sighted nearby. I explained that Max does have owners who are out looking for him and she said she would keep an eye out for him. I am working tomorrow morning at 5.00 until 7.30 so i will have a drive around when i have finished work and hopefully catch a glimpse of him. If you want to meet up somewhere tomorrow morning i am happy to do that. My mobile number is 07950 553418 and i will be available after 7.30am when i finish work. Please feel free to phone me if you need help in searching in the morning, i really am happy to meet up. Fingers crossed he is found safe very soon. Stay safe Max until we can get you home where you should be. Adele xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Mark, thanks for posting an updating.  Yes early morning and evening (dawn to dusk) are the best times, I went through this with your partner and will be emailing advice etc shortly.  Make a note of any sightings and the times as well.  It is important you take the right approach when you seen him as he may run away from you.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are sat here now all upset knowing it was him.We are going to go early in the morning  with one of our Collie bithches  to see if there are any signs of him. Max went missing last night at 2100 hrs, he got out with owners other dog which later returned.  Family have started postering the area and contacted the right people.  Mobile phone photo received uploaded and details updated.  Max is very large bit bigger than a GSD, he is very nervous of people and will bark when approached.  I've gone through what they should do if they sight him, scenting instructions and further info/advice will be emailed to them.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi. We may have seen your dog this morning! My hubby was coming back from the tip at widnes and tried to coax him to the car but he was too scared. He came home for me and we went to have a look around with a tin of food but there was no sign of him. I came home to check on here but there was nothing. Just checked and saw this. My hubby does not know what breed the dog was but says the dog was tall and slender  and was wearing a dark wide collar.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
