Have just had a call from ecstatic owner to let me know Barney is home!!!!   Owners rang the dog warden and then both Springfield and Mount Pleasant today and Mount Pleasant had  taken him in.  Have discussed getting him chipped and hopefully this will be done asap -  which will give Barney added protection as thoughts are he was  taken originally. Welcome home little fella and stay safe from now on Helen xx

Details of a found Goldie wearing a tag with Barney on have been passed to us from Alfies - we are checking this out at the moment.

Spoke to owner but only briefly as her phone was "dying".  Barney got out this morning but hasnt been seen since.  He isnt chipped and had collar but no ID tag.  Dog wardens havent been informed as yet so have stressed importance of doing that first thing tomorrow.  Also need to get posters up in the area asap.  Gave details of Springfield and Mount Pleasant to check.  Rang back but went onto messaging service so had to leave message with my contact details and will ring again later.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
