I am so happy that Saffie is home. Bless her heart. What I don't understand is why money has to change hands. If this man bought her he bought her illegally and her owners shouldn't have to compensate him for his stupidity for not checking to make sure the dog he was buying was not stolen. If that is the law here, then I think those laws need to be changed. Sorry. However, kudos for him at least contacting Saffie's owners and hopefully he learned a valueable lesson.  That being said, I truly am very, very happy that Saffie is safe and home where she belongs. Welcome home sweetheart!

Great news - Saffie is home! After posters went up around Ilford & Barking, owners received a call from a man who had recently acquired a Husky and thought it could be Saffie. It was, and she is now safely home. Money had to change hands though! Poster power works again.

Similar photo now on site - to note, Saffy has lighter coloured ears and is wearing a black collar. She ran off from Windsor Rd just off Ilford Rd. She ran up Windsor towards Sunnyside. There's a junction at the top of there so she could have gone towards Green Lanes (she knows this area) or Staines Road where the allotments are. This was at 1am, thankfully when the roads were quiet, but she was going at full speed so could have travelled a fair distance. Posters have been going up all around the area so fingers crossed this brings some news soon. All relevant places have also been alerted.
