- Spoke with Ali again tonight. Granite is settling in just fine and doing well. Ali's mum was going to pick up Ali's kids and take them to nana's house but instead drove down the road to Ali's and there was Granite on her way home so Nana picked her up and took her home after calling Ali to let her know she had Granite. But Granite is doing quite well and glad to be home. She is normally a calm dog but the dog warden said that she was a bit nervous when on her own. Just so very happy she is home. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi there Glad that she is back home but just be aware that once a dog has killed a sheep then they may have a taste for it so please be careful. I hope she is on the mend and really pleased she is now at home with the other doglets x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I just spoke with Ali and Granite is home!!!!! Yeah!!! She was a rather naughty girl while she was out and killed a farmers sheep/lamb (not sure which) and she got shot but she was taken to the vet and she will be fine. She is on medication and is back home with the other five huskies at home. Alison is thrilled of course. She has had problems with her computer and is unable to post anything on the doglost website so she asked me to thank everyone for everything and to let everyone know Granite is back home and doing fine after her three day jaunt. Welcome home Granite!! xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Jan, have we heard from the owners recently? A photo would be helpful. Also, do we know the circumstances of her being missing? Any sightings at all? Thanks Jan. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I received a telephone call this morning from Gary the dog warden I spoke with last Thursday. He called about a wolf-like dog sighting in Consett and was on his way to see if he could find the dog. I told him about Granite and gave him the information I had read on this site. Keeping my fingers crossed she gets home safely real soon. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I have some posters of Sarafina in that area. If I get any calls I'll get in touch and with some luck we'll find your girl. Hang in there and be sure to get those posters out as quickly as possible. Time really is of the essence in this type of situation and the sooner they are out the sooner we might find your girl. Good luck. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I spoke with the dog warden in our area just Thursday morning and he told me there are a few huskies in the Stanley area that get out from time to time. Hope they find this baby real soon. Huskies can cover amazing areas in a very short time. Good luck. Hopefully you have sightings real soon so you have an idea which direction to look. Be sure to get those posters out. Try ASDA's parking lot. They wouldn't let me post inside but we plastered the cars in the car park. Keeping my fingers crossed and sending positive energy Granite is home real soon. I know you miss her terribly. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
