Dog and I got back home a while ago. She is out for the count and I am not much better LOL. We met up with foster mum and her daughter who had Taz's teddy for scent. My girl got her nose straight to the ground and didn't let up for around an hour and a half, by which time she had done a complete triangle beginning and ended at the car park. She was air-scenting Taz in the middle of this area. It is sloping woodland, very thick in places. Taz is scared of humans and dogs, so I had to keep mine on a long lead so she didn't flush him out of what is a sheep-free area with plenty of shelter. So we know where he is, but it's likely to be a long job catching him. Probably a trap.

He had literally just been handed over so no chance to chip him.

Taz is a 9-month-old liver and white springer male (entire), long tail, may still have harness on, has blue collar with gold writing, no tag/microchip

Missing in Llanwonno Forestry area (between Rhondda and Cynon Valleys) - could end up in Mountain Ash, Maerdy or down to Ynysybwl area.

Lost in roughly this area (quite rural): http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=303500&Y=195500&A=Y&Z=120

Dog is extremely scared and is quite fearful so best to ring re sightings. Worried that there is a lot sheep farming in area.
As Taz was handed in to the rescue by previous owner, we do not know if there are photos as there would be in the case of a pound dog or stray.
