PLEASE NOTE ALTHOUGH I PULLED THE CAR OVER TWICE I WAS UNABLE TO CATCH THE DOG WHO WAS IN FULL FLIGHT Black & Tan medium coated GSD (medium to older dog) seen running down the road (between Ashley & Gazeley (Nr Newmarket) on the "Ashley Bends) heading towards Gazeley at approx. 11.30 this morning (Saturday).    The dog was wearing what looked like a black mikki muzzle/halti or similar  The dog ran into the field on the left hand side of the road -- and headed across two fields in the direction of the Gazeley/Dalham t-junction.  I followed him down the Hill towards the t-junction - and saw him cross the road and head diagonally across the field on the right hand side in the direction of Dalham.

I rang the Suffolk Police who weren’t interested as he wasn’t on the road - and also left details with the emergency guy on the Forest Heath District Council number - just in case anyone rang to report their dog was missing.

I presume he got loose either from a property or on a walk in the Ashley area - and I hope he finds his way home safely.
