Great news! I've looked up the postcode and it appears to be the Bledlow Ridge area (where my mum and brother happen to live!) I would be very interested aswell to know the circumstances, but the main thing is she's been safely reunited xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sincere thanks to Shelties Mum for emailing me these details. I have cross posted to the Sheltie list, and also to the sheltie forum and the collie forum. She will be very scared, so if sighted please be very careful not to chase her but try to entice her with food.        Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm at work at the moment, so don't have any contact numbers with me, but would suggest owners contact vet surgery in Princes Risborough (I think they're called Sprinz and Nash) also the rescue centre at Longwick. I have some contacts in the area and my mum and brother go in to Princes Risboroufgh once or twice a week, so I'll let them know.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It's extremely important you keep returning or even sit out the place the sheltie went missing. They usually return to that spot. Keep it scented with your scent. Doglost administrators can offer top class advice in this respect. Shelties will go deep into cover when spooked, but they are one tough breed when it comes to survival Can even survive on turnips. Don't know if you've put contact owner if sighted as the breed is a devil to approach and catch. they just run and keep running. Got to be softly softly. I know you couldn't catch either of my two as they'd spook off. I''l see if Sheltie Lady has sheltie contacts in your area. If I was nearer I'd be out there helping you. love Sylv xx    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Infomation from owners who were visiting friends when Skyee went missing We were walking the dog in the park near the swimming pool, when a train came by and she ran in the opposite direction out of the park. As we were visiting the area, she does not know the village. We have placed up posters, and despite extensive searches,no further sightings have been made.
