Am still waiting for photos. Have spoken to finder again today they are having problems emailing them to me, something to do with the format. They are trying to sort it and I will put on site as soon as I receive them. The finder has been calling the dog lots of different names to try and get a response and whenever she says Betty the dogs ears prick up so could be Betty, Hetty, Letty. Really hope we can find the owner as she is a lovely natured dog, good with kids and cats and is very comfortable inside the house.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to Sashas owner. She wasn't able to collect the dog the other night but she has now arranged to pick it up Wednesday morning and is taking it to the vets to be scanned. Photos should be on site by wednesday evening.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry it wasn't Sasha but kudos to the gentleman who has been successful in getting this lovely girl. Hopefully there is a microchip and she can get back home. Obviously someone is missing her. Any chance this girl is on the national registry? Thank you to Sasha's owner for taking this girl to the vet. Keeping my fingers crossed that she's chipped and owner information is up to date. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner of missing whippet Sasha, id 22155, got a call today about a found dog. Sadly it was not Sasha but it is obviously someones missing pet. The finder was feeding the dog for about a week before he managed to catch her 2 weeks ago. He has not reported the dog to the authorities as he didn't want her to end up in the pound but he cannot keep her. Sasha's owner had a good look at the dog and she is in very good condition, golden in colour with black eyeliner markings. The inside if her legs and her belly are a slightly lighter golden colour than her body. She was found wearing a fairly new, leather whippet collar. She is approx 20 inches tall, doesn't appear to have been speyed or to have had any pups. Sasha's owner is going back to the finders house later on to take a picture and in the morning she is going to take it to the vets to be scanned. She will also report it to the dog warden.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
