- Fantastic news :-) I've been thinking about these two all weekend - so glad they are safely back home I dropped a poster into my local vets on Friday so will give them a ring to let them know they've been found.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just tried phoning the mobile number on the poster which appears to be unavailable at the moment (14.15). Was going to give ideas of where to poster so will put it here instead:- Abbots Wood, Park Wood, all main entrances onto the Cuckoo Trail (i will do the Horam end), the big duck pond in Hailsham, Hailsham Leisure Centre, Hailsham school ( i know one of the teachers there - i'll see if they will put a poster up on the notice board), local vets (i will do the vets in Horam if not already done), Windmill Feeds in Cross in Hand, Jolleyes and the A22 Pet Store. Could you give a poster to your local postman too? I would rather not put my mobile number on here but i am sure that CJ has my mobile number so am happy for that to be given to Andy. I don't get on my computer unless i'm at work so will check before i leave at 4pm for any news and will make it my first job on Monday morning - got everything crossed for their safe return.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Andy - i am guessing that they were seen in Park Woods? It is the wooded area between the Cowbeech to Hailsham road and Horebeech Lane which also comes out in Hailsham. Popular for dog walkers - i do walk my own dog in there but not on a regular basis. I don't have a colour printer but can print out some black and white ones and put them up in the Horam area if that would help - i may have time to put one up in Park Wood too tomorrow although i have already arranged to walk elsewhere so won't have time to walk there as well. I'll try to give you a ring today when i get a break at work to try to get more details. I'll take a poster into the vets in Horam after work today. Have you postered at Abbots Wood too - not sure which park of Hailsham you're in but that, again, is a very popular place for dog walkers. I hope that Holly & Sadie turn up safe and well.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you for your comments Zoe. I only have a landline number for Wealden dog warden so will call her mobile in the morning. Am in contact with 2 kennals, Lindon lodge & viking oak? posters are out as far as hastings, hailsham, burwash. Getting to Heathfield tomorrow. I had a call from a guy this afternoon who saw a dirty, distressed black & white springer in woods over in cowbeech yesterday, but when he walked today ther was no sighn. Iam going over there tomorrow. Its not an area they or me have been to before but noticed it close(ish) to Horam, about 4 miles as the crow flies from where they went missing(which is home, they went from the garden, so iam not 100% they were stolen) How well do you know the area to Cowbeech? I dont know the deal in exchanging mobile numbers on here but jane has mine and more than welcome to call me. AndyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you for your offer of help Zoe - i will alert owner to it. Owner has contacted all relevent authorities and possible avenues of their disappearence with the help of friends and is currently postering a wide area in the hope that it will bring sightings or jog someones memory who may have seen these two. Fingers crossed that we have some news soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sorry to see that Holly & Sadie are missing. I am in Horam if i can be any assistance. I am assuming that Gloria (the dog warden for Wealden) has been contacted. Her mobile no is 07985 811944. Get lots of posters up locally and a bit further afield. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just seen that they are both neutered which is a good thing - at least it makes them a little less desireable to other people. Did these dogs go missing from a garden or were they taken from inside a house? If they escaped from the garden and had no collar/tag on then it would have been difficult for a finder to get them back to their owner - some people have no idea what to do when they find a dog - might be worth trying local police and vets (although i notice that they're chipped, so a vet would have scanned them). Kit Wilsons in Hadlow Down may be worth a phone call and also Raystede. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have spoken to owner and given advice, owner has informed authorities and dog wardens on both areas local to him , and also checked and made aware the two local holding kennels. Will be postering more widely and informing police of the possiblity that these lovely girls may have been stolen as it is unlike them to disappear from home in this way. Emailing more advice, numbers and information. Hope these lovely girls are home soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- thank you for your help. Holly &Sadie went missing friday 12/3/10 from home. Iam confident that if they had been picked up by local farmers, gamekeepers etc we would have found them by now as we have covered about a 5 mile radius. It looks like they have been stolen and can only hope the reward posters which will go up locally in the southeast will produce a lead.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
